Agree dates before making assumptions
Record proposed arrival and departure dates, including any preparation time needed. Existing guest bookings or tenancy commitments cannot simply be ignored because the owner wishes to visit.
The management agreement should describe notice, date confirmation and how availability is blocked. A request for dates is not necessarily a confirmed reservation for your own use.
Plan the apartment for your return
Discuss cleaning, linen, personal belongings and whether any items are reserved for owner use. Guests should not have access to personal documents or possessions stored in areas not intended for rental.
