Property photography checklist for apartment owners
Good property photography helps guests understand the apartment they will actually receive. Prepare the complete stay before the shoot, show the layout clearly and keep descriptions consistent with the photographs.

Prepare rooms before the camera arrives
Clean surfaces, make beds and remove personal belongings. Check bulbs and straighten curtains. Keep practical furniture in the place guests will use it rather than staging an arrangement that will disappear after the shoot.
Confirm that the bedding, appliances and kitchen equipment shown will be included. Store spare supplies neatly and photograph the property when unfinished work has been resolved.
Show the layout as well as the details
Cover every sleeping area, bathroom, kitchen and living space. Include useful angles showing how rooms connect. Guests need to understand privacy, shared spaces and sleeping arrangements, not just see attractive close-ups.
Use natural light where possible and avoid treatments that misrepresent size or condition. Show the actual outlook. Photograph shared facilities only when permission and guest access are confirmed.
Maintain an accurate image set
Keep the owner’s original photographs and agreed usage arrangements. Match captions to the room shown, and replace images when furnishings or the available facilities change.
Our marketing pages show the service we offer. An individual guest listing should use photographs of the actual rental apartment. We discuss preparation, the shoot and any separate photography costs before launch.
Owner checklist
- Clean and complete the apartment first.
- Photograph every advertised room and sleeping arrangement.
- Confirm permission and access for shared facilities.
- Update photographs after meaningful changes.
Questions owners ask.
Can I use the developer’s brochure photographs for my rental?
Check permission and whether they represent your actual apartment. Guests need an accurate view of the unit being offered.
When should photographs be replaced?
When changes to furnishings, condition, layout or amenities make the existing photographs misleading.
